I still have dreams of decorating the house, setting up the tree, and watching the wonder of Christmas in your eyes for the first time. Of visiting your grandparents and watching as they spoil you with treats and toys. Of being joyfully exhausted after bringing you to all your first holiday experiences.

Our Thanksgiving this year may not have been anything like what we had hoped it would be, but sweetheart, we still have so much to be thankful for.

Norah, this month you accomplished so much more than crawling or crying in a pumpkin costume.

September was hard. The six month marker carried more weight than either of us ever expected. But evidently, this wasn't news to Norah or God.

These past six months have been the hardest of our lives.
Although we don’t know exactly what the next six months will look like, we do know, without a doubt, that Norah and God will be there every step of the way.

And that’s all we need.

365 days ago you came into our existence in a moment that filled us with a holy mix of fear, hope, and nervous excitement.

We had no idea what our lives were going to look like, we just knew that this was BIG. 

And you know what? We weren't wrong.

Baby girl, each month, we get to know you more and more.
Each month we get to see you impact the lives of people near and far. 

Norah, you never cease to amaze us.
